State Corrections Department officers and other law enforcement agencies arrested 12 people in Santa Fe on Wednesday on accusations of probation violations and other warrants.°®¶¹app

The department's Probation and Parole Security Threat Intelligence Unit Fugitive Apprehension Team was joined by officers from the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office, Santa Fe police, New Mexico State Police and U.S. Marshals Service in the operation, which they called Operation Clean Sweep, according to a news release from the agency. Officers seized a loaded handgun and illegal drugs in the operation as well, the release states.°®¶¹app

Many of the people arrested were booked into Santa Fe County jail Wednesday on various charges including probation violations, failure to comply with parole requirements and failure to appear in court.°®¶¹app
