A teenage girl was injured and the teen boy she was with faces charges after a vehicle he was driving hit her Thursday night after she got out°®¶¹app in a parking lot, city police said.°®¶¹app

Police were dispatched to the parking lot of the Walmart on Herrera Drive at about 10:15 p.m. Thursday, Capt. Lawrence Barnett said. A girl who had been riding in a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old boy got out of the vehicle and then the vehicle struck the girl in the parking lot, Barnett said.°®¶¹app

He said the girl was taken to an area hospital, treated for "non-life-threatening injuries" and discharged Friday morning.
